James Lee Adams, 83, of the 5000 block of Indian Trail Road died Feb. 4, 1997.
A retired real estate appraiser, Mr. Jones was a Danville, Va., native and the widower of Shirley Breedlove Adams. He was a Baptist and former president of the local SRA Chapter.
Survivors include daughter, Romayne Adams Hardy of Suffolk.
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Princess Anne Memorial Park by Dr. W. Chreston Holoman. The family will receive friends in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
