Patricia King Nelson of the 6400 block of Stoney Point South died Feb. 3, 1997, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
A retired lab technician for Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, she was a Norfolk native and former member of First Baptist Church, Lambert's Point.
Survivors include four daughters, Tameeka King of Norfolk, Keyosha King, Charnelle Nelson and Latrice Nelson, all of Norfolk; parents, Lottie Mingo of Norfolk and Charlie Brown; two sisters, Deborah Denis of New York and Janice Webb of Norfolk; three brothers, Melvin King and Jerome King of Norfolk and Barry King of Chesapeake; and grandson, Kyonte' King of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in New Union Chapel A.M.E. Church, Norfolk, by Dr. Clifton R. Wilson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Friday. The remains will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. The family will assemble at 11 a.m. at her residence for the procession. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
