Quilts by Lena Ellis received the second- and third-place awards in crafts.

In the mixed media division, a watercolor and pencil drawing by Nicholas Bottis won the blue ribbon, and Rear Adm. Bill Rowley, the commanding officer of the base, placed second for his collection of Christmas ornaments featuring ink drawings of hospital landmarks.
