Shirley Denlinger Thayer, 84, of Russell House died Feb. 5, 1997.
Shirley was the retired office manger of Norfolk Yacht and Country Club and a Virginia Beach General Hospital volunteer.
She was the loving mother of Margaret T. Jackson and her husband, Hubert ``Stoney'' Jackson, and Patricia T. Paschal and her husband, Elwood B. Paschal, all of Virginia Beach. She was the dear grandmother of Eleanor White, Emilie Jackson and Penny Pezzella and the great-grandmother of Kelly and Lee White.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Father Richard Reid, St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is in charge.
