Elizabeth W. Woodhouse, 98, died Feb. 7, 1997, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Mrs. Woodhouse served as a Navy yeomanette during World War I. She was the widow of Clinton M. Woodhouse. The couple for many years were co-operators of Seaside Park Amusement Center and co-owners of Seapines Apartments at Virginia Beach. Mrs. Woodhouse was a founder and first president of the Virginia Beach Garden Club and a former member of the Colonial Dames.
She was a member of Galilee Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth W. Blee of Jacksonville, N.C.; her son, Franklin W. Woodhouse of San Diego, Calif.; and six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery, Virginia Beach. Following the service, the family will receive friends at the home of Dr. Holman C. Rawls III, 420 Linkhorn Dr., Virginia Beach, Va. 23451. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Altar Guild of Galilee Episcopal Church, 40th St. and Pacific Ave., Virginia Beach, Va. 23451. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
