ANDREW JACKSON

Andrew ``Boogie'' Jackson of the 4200 block of Colonial Ave. died Feb. 6, 1997, in DePaul Medical Center, Norfolk.

A Norfolk County native, Mr. Jackson was a member of Providence United Church of Christ, Westmunden, Chesapeake.

Survivors include five sons, Melvin Jackson and Lindell Jackson of Norfolk, Randolph Jackson and Tony Jackson of Chesapeake and Wendell Jackson of Portsmouth; two sisters, Ruth Bazemore of Chesapeake and Evelyn Smith of Norfolk; a brother, Harvey Jackson of Norfolk; two grandchildren; and many other surviving relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Providence United Church of Christ by the Rev. Alexander Jamison. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Fitchett Funeral Home is in charge.
