Lillian Allen Scott died Feb. 8, 1997.
Mrs. Scott, a native of Portsmouth, was retired from the American National Bank, Portsmouth, as head bookkeeper. She was a member of Park View United Methodist Church and was the widow of Mulford Kellam Scott.
Survivors include her daughter, Anne Scott Carr of Portsmouth, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Oak Grove Cemetery by The Right Rev. O'Kelly Whitaker. Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is handling arrangements. Friends may join the family at her daughter's home. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
