Mrs. Arlo M. Pickett, 81, of the 300 block of Sequoia Ave. died Saturday, Feb. 8, 1997, in a local hospital.
A native of Atlanta, she was the widow of Winfield Pickett. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and Western Branch Senior Citizens.
Survivors include four sons, Dewitt Roberts of Chesapeake, Dewey Roberts of Grovetown, Ga., Keath Roberts of Portsmouth and James Roberts of Manassas, Va.; sister, Irene Blackburn of St. Paul, N.C.; brother, Curtis Musselwhite of Fayetteville, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Robert F. Cofield Jr. and the Rev. Scott Rimer. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Aldersgate United Methodist Church Building Fund.
