Henry ``Hank'' Michael Frank, 67, of the 800 block of Stratford Hall Drive died Feb. 7, 1997, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Frank was born in Baltimore and was a retired Navy chief and retired from civil service. He was a life member of VFW Post 392, Moc Pup Tent No. 9 and Fleet Reserve Post 99. He was the grand of Virginia Moc Chaplain and a member of Chapel by the Sea Dam Neck.
He was the beloved husband of Betty J. Frank for 17 years. Hank was the loving father of Henry Jr. and his wife, Jean, of Scotland Neck, N.C.; John and Joseph Frank, both of Nags Head, N.C.; John R. Campbell Jr. and his wife, Trin, of Jacksonville, Fla.; Patricia Bair and her husband, Guy, of Camden; Bonnie Hines and her husband, Jeff, of Elk Creek, Va.; Sandra Halstead of Virginia Beach; Linda Cousin and her husband, Patrick, of Virginia Beach; and J. Halstead of Virginia Beach.
He was the dear brother of John Frank of Aberdene, Md.; Eileen Johnson and Emma Grzymsky, both of Essex, Md.; Delores Speckhals of Seattle; Dorothy Nordyke of Baltimore; Scottie Loman, husband of the late Claradina, of Baltimore. Hank was the grandfather of Brandon, Angela, Cassandra, Tracy, Tricia, Michael, Sheena, Henry III, Brett, Jacob, David, David and Ellen, and the great-grandfather of Devon. He is also survived by a host of dear friends and other family. Hank was greatly loved and his living generosity will be sorely missed.
Friends may join the family from 2 to 4 p.m. today in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, Virginia Beach. A funeral will be held at Chapel by the Sea Dam Neck at 1 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park.
