Vivian Whorton Harrell, 88, died Feb. 8, 1997, in Virginia Beach.
She was born in Belhaven, N.C., and was a retired federal employee of Little Creek Amphibious Base with 23 years of service. She was a member of Indian River Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Jo-Anne H. Seay and husband Archie F. Seay Jr. of Virginia Beach; two sons, Herman S. Harrell Jr. of Washington, D.C., and Bert R. Harrell and wife, Nancy, of Virginia Beach; a sister, Rosa W. Funk of South Norfolk; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
