Nelson L. Gladfelter, 59, of the 4900 block of Blackfoot Crescent, died Feb. 8, 1997.
He was the beloved husband of Joan for 39 years. Nelson was the loving father of Connie Weeks and her husband, George of Jacksonville, Fla., Torey Baeza and her husband, Robert of El Paso, Texas. He was the dear brother of Nancy Arnold, Jack Gladfelter, Fred Gladfelter and Sherrie Heiner. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Kelly, Audrey, Steven and Laura.
The family will receive friends for a memorial service at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, Virginia Beach.
