Marion Hill Howell, 81, of the 400 block of W. High St. died Feb. 9, 1997, in Autumn Care Nursing Home, Rich Square.
Born in Hertford County, she was the widow of William Z. Howell. She was a homemaker and a member of Murfreesboro Baptist Church, Murfreesboro.
Survivors include two sisters, Cornelia Hill Smith of Zebulon, Jean Hill Ricks of Conway; two brothers, James Wells Hill Jr., Chester Boyette Hill Sr., both of Murfreesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Murfreesboro Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, by Dr. Davis Smith. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Garrett Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, and other times at the home of James W. Hill Jr., 419 W. High St., Murfreesboro. Memorial donations may be made to the Murfreesboro Baptist Church Building Fund.
