Mrs. Sadie Moses Ames, 83, died Feb. 9, 1997, in the A&N Hospital. She was the widow of Mr. William ``Jack'' Ames.
She leaves to cherish her memory five daughters, Bertha Garcia and Ruth Johnson of New Jersey, Sadie Ames, Iris Reavis of New York, Deloris Moody of Cheapside; three sons, William Ames of Cheapside, Samuel and Carill Ames of New Jersey; sister, Georgia Watty of Atlanta; three brothers, William Moses of Cheapside, Robert Moses of Trenton, N.J., and Samuel Moses of Norfolk; 34 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Ebenezer A.M.E. Church, Capeville. Funeral arrangements by John O. Morris Funeral Home, Nassawadox.
