VICTOR SCHOLLY

Victor Scholly, 81, died Feb. 10, 1997.

Mr. Scholly was retired from the U.S. Navy with 23 years service and worked at the Naval Aviation Depot for 15 years before retiring in 1983. He was a Chicago native and the widower of Evelyn J. Scholly. He was a member of Azalea Garden Church of God, Norfolk, and a member of Fleet Reserve Branch 60.

Survivors include his daughter, Linda Ray Gregory of Virginia Beach; sons, Kenneth Roy Scholly of Chicago, Charles William Elliott of Suffolk and Thomas Daniel Elliott of Virginia Beach; sister, Louise Zemtseff of Las Vegas; brother, George Zemtseff of Skokie, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Azalea Garden Church of God, Norfolk, by Pastor Aubrey Maye. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. today. Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery.
