Robert B. Quinn Sr., 75, passed away at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital Friday, Feb. 7, 1997.
He was born in Bessemer City, N.C., and came to Palm Harbor in 1985 from Nags Head, N.C. He was an insurance agent for many years in Portsmouth before retiring to Nags Head in 1975. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. His memberships include First Baptist Church of Ozona, Fla., and the Lake Drummond Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 178, Chesapeake.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Quinn; two sons, Robert B. Quinn Jr. of Nags Head and Dennis A. Quinn Sr. of Suffolk; brother, Wayne H. Quinn of Georgia; and three grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, by the Rev. Tim Piland. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens with Masonic rites.
