The debate over a school name in Chesapeake is between Charles Brabble Middle School or Hugo Owens Middle School. A photo caption in Saturday's MetroNews section erroneously referred to each possibility as an elementary school. Since then, a committee has recommended that the Deep Creek school be named after Hugo A. Owens.

Waterview is not a part of the River Edge census tract, as shown in a chart accompanying Monday's MetroNews story on the upcoming crime summit in Portsmouth. In addition, neighborhood names such as Hatton Point were a general description for census tract areas that also include other surrounding communities.
