SAILORS CHANGE NAME

Members of the Roanoke Island Yacht Club have changed the named to the Colington Yacht Club.

``Most of the members live on Colington Island or own property there,'' Commodore Rick Straub said. ``And nearly all of us sail out of Colington.''

Bob Buchanan, who founded the club in Manteo in the early 1980s, said the change ``will help our public image and dispel the questions about why the Roanoke Island Yacht Club operates out of Colington Harbour.
