Joseph Sebree, 74, of the 700 block of Pacific Ave., died Feb. 8, 1997, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital.
A native of Chicago, he was the widower of Lillian Sebree. He was a retired U.S. Navy petty officer 2nd class.
Survivors include his goddaughter and her mother, Ebony Nicole Woodson and Ethelene Woodson; and Mrs. Woodson's sister, Gilda Collins.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth, by Elder Samuel Moore. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 2 p.m. today. The family and friends will assemble at 3:20 p.m. for the graveside service.
