Bonifacio Abool, 75, of the 3400 block of Glen Arden Road, died Feb. 7, 1997.
A native of Roxas City, Capiz, Philippines, he was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Prescila Abool; 12 children and 40 grandchildren.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at noon Friday in St. Matthew's Catholic Church by Fr. Timothy Drake. The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 p.m. today in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. The body will be sent to Roxas City from the funeral home.
