HARRY J. KENNEY

Harry Joseph Kenney, 85, of the 900 block of Indian Circle, died Feb. 12, 1997.

Mr. Kenney was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Virginia Beach.

Mr. Kenney was a retired lieutenant colonel with the U.S. Army and was a member of the 802nd Tank Destroyer Battalion in New York.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann Kenney; three daughters, Ann Kenney Green of Virginia Beach, Ruth Willis of St. Louis and Patricia Helker of Waukesha, Wis.; two sons, Harry A. Kenney of Modesto, Calif., Arthur J. Kenney of Naperville, Ill.; a sister, Mildred Kuckens of Charleston, S.C.; a brother, Edward Kenney of Florida; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Star of the Sea Catholic Church 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 1997, by Fr. James E. Dorson. Burial will be at Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery in Virginia Beach.

Memorial donations may be made to the DePaul Medical Center, 150 Kingsley Lane, Norfolk, Va. 23505. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, are handling arrangements.
