Richard Anthony Marchetti, 48, of the 900 block of Montebello Circle, died Thursday Feb. 13, 1997, at his residence.
Mr. Marchetti was born in Fitchburg, Mass., and was the son of the late Antonio and Georgette LaPrade Marchetti. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and the Society of Plastic Engineers. Mr. Marchetti was a director of global market development for the Hunstman Corp.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Ann Marchetti; his two daughters, Christina ``Tina'' Marie Marchetti and her fiance, Aaron Eaton, and Cynthia Ann Marchetti, all of Chesapeake; his sister, Judith Tuttle of Westminster, Mass.; and his granddaughter, Kayla Marie Marchetti of Chesapeake.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church by the Rev. Christian Haydinger. Interment will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens.
Viewing will be begin on Sunday. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge. A Christian Wake service will be held at 3 p.m.
