Mildred Traylor Cobb, 81, died Feb. 14, 1997.
Mrs. Cobb was born in Milwaukee, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Paul F. Traylor and Ruth Futrell Traylor Maddrey and the widow of Harry C. Cobb Sr.
She retired as a dietitian at Southampton Memorial Hospital and was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Deborah C. Denson of Franklin; two sons, H. Cotton Cobb Jr. of Cincinnati and Alfred Paul Cobb of Courtland; brother, Julian Traylor of Littleton, N.C.; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 164 Bobwhite Lane, Franklin, and suggests that memorial donations be made to the Franklin Rescue Squad. Wright Funeral Home is in charge.
