Eula Mae Peele, 73, of the 600 block of S. McLean St., died Feb. 10, 1997.
Born in Kinston, N.C., she was the widow of W. Earl Peele. A homemaker, she was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sister, Katie C. Phillips of Osprey, Fla.; seven nieces and nephews and 10 great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Williams.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. Tim Robertson and the Rev. M.O. Sears. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Wayne Memorial Park, Goldsboro, N.C. The family asks that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to the Arthritis Foundation. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
