Mary Ellen Marshall White, 93, of the 2300 block of Ballentine Blvd. died Friday, Feb. 14, 1997, in her home.
She was a Norfolk native and the daughter of the late Dora Sayers and George Lloyd Marshall. She was the widow of James R. White. Mrs. White was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty W. Miller; her son, James L. White; her sister, Mildred L. Price. She was a member of Fairmont Park United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara White Conklin of Norfolk; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Donald A. Baird. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
