Mary Helen Lampley, of the 6300 block of Dove St., died Feb. 6, 1997, in Lakeland, Fla., Regional Medical Center.
Born in Coffee County, Ala., she was a retired nurse's aide and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include her mother, Leona Lee of Norfolk; five sisters, Mae Francis Franklin and Jean Green, both of Nashville, and Gloria Bann, Ann Lee and Bonnie Iveny, all of Chicago; six brothers, Melvin Lampley Jr., David Lambley Sr., and Mozell Lampley, all of Norfolk, Dennis Lee of Milwaukee, Joshua Lee and Christopher Lee, both of Nashville; a sister-in-law, Cynthia B. Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Mayflower Ave., Norfolk, by Brother Wilbert Hawkins. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will assemble at the residence at 10 a.m. for the procession. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
