Mildred Bell Harrison, 91, formerly of Norfolk, died Friday, Feb. 14, 1997, at Runk and Pratt Adult Care.
She was the wife of the late Silas E. Harrison. Born Aug. 11, 1905, in Norfolk, she was a daughter of the late Eugene G. and Matilda Murden Bell. Mrs. Harrison was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church, Lynchburg.
She is survived by her daughter, M.J. Randlett, and her husband, David of Moneta; two grandchildren, Karen R. Goodwin and her husband, Rusty, of Lynchburg, and Paul H. Randlett of Largo, Fla.; two great-grandchildren, R.J. Goodwin and Tyler Goodwin, both of Lynchburg; and a special niece, Lois J. Hickman of Virginia Beach. She was preceded in death by a sister, Eugenia B. Morgan.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, Chesapeake, with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home. Whitten Park Avenue Funeral Home, Lynchburg, is in charge.
