Margaret Addison Judkins, 80, died Sat. Feb. 15, 1997, in Newport Convalescent Center, Newport News.
She was a longtime resident of Surry and a member of Bacon's Castle Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Henry H. and Effie Hardy Gardner, and the widow of Herman E. Addison and Wilton Curtis Judkins.
Mrs. Judkins is survived by a daughter, Nora Addison Culpepper, and husband, Linwood, of Surry; a son, Edward Addison Jr. of Tennessee; a sister, Nannie Addison of Surry; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Oakwood Cemetery, Surry. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield. Memorial donations may be made to the Surry Volunteer Rescue Squad.
