Marie M. Miller, 79, died Feb. 15, 1997, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Born in Detroit, she was the widow of her first husband, Joseph Michael Macali and her second husband, Armand Miller. She was a retired school teacher of the Rotterdam, N.Y., school system.
Survivors include a daughter, Christine Lisee of Los Angeles; a son, William M. Macali of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Theodora Wittcop of Rochester, N.Y., Susan Clark of Columbus, Ohio; three brothers, George Tynda, William Sywetz and Stephen Sywetz.
A funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, by the Rev. Stanley W. Sawyer. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to Tidewater Heart Association.
