ARTHUR W. ROBINSON JR.

Arthur W. ``Bubby'' Robinson Jr., 76, of the 3700 block of Colonial Ave., died Feb. 12, 1997.

A native of Norfolk, he retired 15 years ago as a shipbuilding production controller for the Department of the Navy with 42 years service. He completed a four-year apprenticeship program at the Portsmouth Shipyard. He was the son of the late Estelle M. Robinson and Arthur W. Robinson Sr.

Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Robinson; a daughter, Kim Robinson of Norfolk; four sons, Arthur Robinson III of Chesapeake, Reginald Robinson of Washington, D.C., Phillip Robinson of Norfolk, Emerson Robinson of Alexandria; a brother, Edward P. Robinson of Adelphi, Md.; nine grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friens.

A funeral will be conducted at noon in Knox Presbyterian Church, 37th St. and Colonial Ave., Norfolk, by the Rev. Ewing Brown. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The body will be placed in church Monday at 10:45 a.m. The family and friends will assemble at the residence at 11 a.m. for the procession to the church. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
