Virginia Power said it will become the first company in the commonwealth to offer payroll deduction for employees enrolled in the Virginia Prepaid Education Program.
The program lets Virginia parents pay for tomorrow's college tuition expenses at ``today'' prices. To qualify for this year's prices, applications must be received by the tuition program's office by Feb. 28.
The payments are subtracted from workers' paychecks and forwarded by Virginia Power to the tuition program's office. For information on the state's prepaid tuition program, call 1-888-567-0540.
