Lachhami Bai Kapur, 81, of the 100 block of Winterview Drive, died Feb. 16, 1997, at home.
She was born in Laki Bannu, India, and was the widow of Amar Dass Kapur. She was a member of Guru Nanak Foundation in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Manohar Lal Kapur of Suffolk; and two granddaughters, Anita Kapur and Sandra Kapur, both of Richmond. She was predeceased by her mother, Mukand Bai, and father, Mengha Ram.
A funeral will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. today at Hollomon-Brown Crematory, Virginia Beach, by Pundit Tripathi. Hill Funeral Home, Suffolk, is in charge. Memorials may be made to Guru Nanak Foundation, 3869 Old Shell Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452.
