Sylvia R. Feltham, 63, of the 700 block of Emerald Lake Drive, died Feb. 15, 1997.
Mrs. Feltham was born in Waynesboro, Va., and was a Baptist. She was a school bus driver for the Virginia Beach city schools for 20 years. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors include her husband, Retired Navy SCPO William J. Feltham; five daughters, Patricia Ann Brewer of Suffolk, Sandra K. Sheldon of Portsmouth, Carolyn J. Corron and Cheryl A. Kulik, both of Virginia Beach, and Marcella L. McKinnie of Seattle; six sons, David Morgan of Idaho, Creedon L. Feltham of New Hampshire, Warren E. Feltham, Raymond P. Feltham and Andrew B. Feltham, all of Virginia, and William J. Feltham Jr. of California; a sister, Hazel Pates and a brother, Gordon Pates, both of Maryland; and 20 grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Marie and Pete Pates.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel by Chaplain G. Richard Moon. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
