STANLEY DAVIS

Stanley Davis, of the 3600 block of Aaron Drive, died Feb. 15, 1997, in Maryview Hospital.

A brickmason, he was a 20-year employee of Angelo Davis Construction Co. and a native of Pontiac, Mich. He was a member of Zion Light Pentecostal Church, Ferndale, Mich.

Survivors include his wife, Willie Diane Davis; daughter, Shannon Marie Davis of Detroit; stepdaughter, Pamela Harvey of Norfolk; son, Shawn Davis of Detroit; mother and father, Edith Davis and Bishop Angelo C. Davis Sr., both of Suffolk; sister, Phyllis A. Davis of Southfield, Mich.; three brothers, Angelo C. Davis Jr. of Portsmouth, Eugene Perkins of Charlotte, N.C., and Vernon Perkins of New York, N.Y.; five sisters-in-law, Gwendolyn S. Davis of Portsmouth, Angie Perkins of Charlotte, Angie Perkins of New York, N.Y., Annie Robinson and Mildred Cowell, both of Chesapeake.

A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Little Grove Baptist Church, Suffolk, by Ralph Richardson III. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, will being at noon today. The body will be taken to the church at noon Wednesday. The family will be at the home of his parents, 6100 Hunters Court, Suffolk, and will assemble there for the funeral. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
