Horace E. Geffcken, 76, of the 1200 block of Colonial Avenue died Feb. 16, 1997, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Geffcken was the manager of the Virginia Gift Shop, with 15 years of service, and was formerly employed with the Navy Shipyard as a machinist.
Mr. Geffcken was a native of Dublin, Ga.
Survivors include four sisters, Dorothy E. Geffcken of Norfolk; Mildred E. Profitt of Alsip, Ill.; Margaret B. Jenkins of Greenbelt, Md.; Josephine A. Harwi of Keansburg, N.J.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, is in charge.
