Bryce Bowers Fisher, 79, died Feb. 18, 1997, in his residence.
Mr. Fisher, a native of Salisbury, N.C., was a retired vice president of Norshipco. He was a member of Miles Memorial United Methodist Church, where he formerly served on its official board and as president of the Fellowship Class. He was a member of the Harbor Club and the Propellor Club.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Briggs Fisher; three sons, Dr. Stephen C. Fisher of Philadelphia, Robert B. Fisher of New York City and Thomas Alan Fisher and his wife, Stacie, of Richmond; two grandchildren, Bryce and Rebecca Fisher of Richmond; sister, Louise Fisher of Lexington, N.C.; and an uncle, Aubrey Fisher of Salisbury.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Miles Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. Daniel K. Ivey and the Rev. Morris Bennett. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
