BOOKER T. PARKER

Booker T. Parker of the 800 block of Wedgefield Court died Feb. 12, 1997, in a local hospital.

He was retired longshoreman, a native of Rocky Mount, N.C., and the widower of Annie Mae Parker. He was a local member of ILA 1248.

Survivors include sister, Mrs. Rosa Parker Lawrence of Rocky Mount; brother, Perly Parker of Washington, D.C.; special friend, Audrey Calloway; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Betty J. Parker and Rufus Parker.

A graveside funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Calvary Cemetery by Bishop Anthony Moses. Hale Funeral Home is in charge.
