Josie Irene Lassiter Collier, 94, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1997.
Mrs. Collier was a Northampton County native and a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Janet C. Outland of Woodland; her son, Garland Collier of Conway; two sisters, Edlar L. Edwards of Woodland and Meadie L. Lassiter of Rich Square; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in New Hope United Methodist Church by the Rev. Leon Fowler. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jackson Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
