The Chowan Hospital Foundation has named six new members to its Board of Directors. Two board members, J.P. Timberlake and Dr. Alden Davis, left the board after serving two consecutive three-year terms.
New members from Chowan County are J.M. Parrish, Thelma Smith and Pierce Lawing. Others are Edward Daniels from Bertie County, Cheryl Byrd from Dare County, and Reginald ``Dalton'' Phelps from Creswell in Washington County.
