Minnie Sue Martin Hayes, 59, of the 2700 block of Glen Ave., died Feb. 20, 1997, in Chesapeake.
A waitress, she was a native of Etowah, Tenn.
Survivors include three daughters, Cynthia E. Vandergrift of Virginia Beach, Susan Renea McCabe of Virginia Beach and Gina Doreen Hayes of Chesapeake; a son, James Scott Hayes of Chesapeake; mother, Gussie Sue Harris Martin of Etowah; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Congregational Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. Mark Bailey. Burial will be private. Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
