The driver of a Ford Explorer that flipped three times after it was struck Wednesday by a city school bus has been charged with causing the accident.
John Zaun, 67, of the 1200 block of Flobert Drive was charged with disregarding a red light and failure to wear a seat belt. He suffered a head injury in the accident.
The accident happened just before 3 p.m. at Princess Anne Road and Green Meadows Drive. Police said Zaun drove in front of the school bus after going through the red light.
