He was born in Miami, Fla.
Survivors include his wife, Marilou Harris Allen; parents, Helen Christinzio Allen and William H. Allen Sr. of Virginia Beach; a sister, Laura L. Allen of Chesapeake; and a niece, Allyson Yohe of Chesapeake.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Colonial Grove Memorial Park by the Rev. Ronald W. Lee. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, is handling arrangements.
