Lena Davidson Davis Meeks, 90, died Friday, Feb. 21, 1997.
Survivors include her husband, Dewey R. Meeks; daughters, Nancy D. Manning of Tarboro, June D. Futrell of Carrsville, Va., Betty D. Bellflower of Franklin, Va., and Mary D. Whitehead of Hayes, Va.; sons, John S. Davidson of Franklin and William E. Davidson of Greenville, Tenn.; a sister, Eva Cartledge of Scotland Neck; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Carlisle Funeral Home by Dr. Lavelle Waters. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Scotland Neck, at 3:45 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today and other times at the home of Carl and Nancy Manning, 402 Hastings St., Tarboro.
