Virginia Yarbrough Wiltbank, 86, formerly of Webster Avenue, died Friday, Feb. 21, 1997.
Mrs. Wiltbank was a native of Danville, Va., and the widow of Henry Parsons Wiltbank. She was a 1930 graduate of Longwood College. She began teaching on Chincoteague Island and retired as a math teacher in 1973 from Harry Hunt Junior High School, Portsmouth. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Susannah Wesley Circle, ADK Sorority and American Association of University Women.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Mary J. Roberts, Ruth Stewart and Ella Skinner. Survivors include eight nieces and nephews and their families.
A graveside funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by Rev. Donald H. Seely. Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to: Centenary United Methodist Church Youth Fund, 3312 Cedar Lane, Portsmouth, Va. 23703.
