Janie E. Holland, 83, of 2816 Soloman St., died Feb. 20, 1997.
The widow of William H. Holland, she was a past member of New Testament Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include four daughters, Juanita Holland, Barbara Murphy, Mary Banks, Eunice Jones; three sons, Marvin Holland, William L. Holland and Donald Holland; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in New Testament Church, Portsmouth, by Elder Charles H. Bowens Jr. Burial will be in St. Julian Creek Cemetery, Chesapeake. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
