Mrs. Lula Francis Dailey Massengill, 96, of the 1300 block of Hull St., died Feb. 20, 1997.
Born in Bertie County, N.C., she was the widow of Millard R. Massengill. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Chesapeake, the Niner's Senior Citizens Club and AARP.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Dailey of Norfolk; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Nellie Hobbs of Chesapeake; a stepson, James E. Massengill of Moyock, N.C.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Southside Baptist Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Gregory Hensley. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. today in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, and at all other times at 417 Oaklette Drive, Chesapeake.
