MINNIE ARTIS

Mrs. Minnie Artis of the 22400 block of Angelico Road, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 1997, in Suffolk.

Survivors include her husband, George D. Artis Sr.; a daughter, Evelyn Thompson of Hayes, Va.; three sons, Anthony Artis of Hampton, Keith Artis of Petersburg, Va., George Artis Jr. of Richmond; two brothers, Haywood Green of the Bronx, N.Y., and Herbert Green of Washington, D.C.; and six grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Mount Tabor Baptist Church, Newsoms, by the Rev. Robert Joyner. Burial will be in Pine Level Cemetery, Capron. Remains will be placed in church at noon. Family will assemble at 11:45 a.m. at William M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home, Franklin.
