Mrs. Beulah White Whedbee Trotman, 95, of the 4100 block of Ivy Lane went to be with the Lord Friday, Feb. 21, 1997, at her residence.
Mrs. Trotman was a native of Perquimans and a homemaker. She was a member of Deep Creek United Methodist Church, Chesapeake. She was the daughter of the late John Henry Thomas and Sally Ann Stallings White and the widow of Jake B. Whedbee and Vernon H. Trotman.
Survivors include a daughter, Adel W. and husband John Luke of Kitty Hawk; two sons, James ``Jim'' T. and wife Frances Whedbee of Norfolk and Vernon L. and wife, Annie Laurie Whedbee, of Chesapeake; two sisters, Nettie Cartwright of Camden and Lenora Pyle of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Twiford's Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City, with the Revs. Brad Langdon and Margaret Shepard. Burial will follow in Old Quaker Cemetery, Symons Creek. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the North Carolina Yearly Meeting Cemetery Trust Fund, 5506 Granby Ave., Greensboro, N.C. 24710.
