Marcus Randolph Hinton, 25, of the 2000 block of Brookland Street died Feb. 19, 1997, in Chesapeake General Hospital.
A computer specialist for Canon Computer Systems, he was a Portsmouth native, a Baptist and attended Baptist churches.
Survivors include his parents, Cynthia H. Perry of Norfolk and Michael Perry of Portsmouth; two sisters, Yvette Perry and Tonette Perry, both of Chesapeake; maternal grandmother, Ernestine Woodhouse of Chesapeake; paternal grandmother, Margaret Small of Chesapeake; two nieces, Jasmine Perry and Jamia Perry; nephew, Brion Perry; adoptive father, Thomas Evans; a very special friend, Ann Woodard; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 pm. Monday in New Berean Baptist Church, 3600 Bamboo Road, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Leroy Hicks. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, will begin at noon today. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Monday. The family will be at the home of his grandmother, Ernestine Woodhouse, 1015 Castle Court, Chesapeake, and will assemble there for the funeral procession to the church.
