Michael Joe Maloney, 52, of Cedarville Road died Friday, Feb. 21, 1997.
Mr. Maloney retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a machinist and was a member of Centerville Baptist Church.
Mr. Maloney is survived by his wife, Paula J. Maloney of the residence; father, Mr. Ernest Frank Maloney of Chesapeake; three daughters, Mary Loanne Newhart, Dawn Mariah Wotring, Crystal Gail Brown; two sons, Michael Christopher Maloney and John Michael Brown, all of Chesapeake; sister, Mrs. Barbara Jean Day of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and a great-grandchild, P.J. Wotring of Chesapeake.
A memorial service will be conducted Monday at Centerville Baptist Church at 1 p.m. by the Rev. John Reese. Twiford Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is in charge.
