CRIME LINE

Police are seeking public assistance in solving these cases:

On Feb. 12 at 9:30 a.m., a woman was robbed at the Naval Federal Credit Union branch ATM on Laskin Road in the Hilltop North Shopping Center.

The woman, 32, was approached by a man who demanded money and struck her in the face several times before taking the money.

The suspect is described as black, about 20, 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a black quilted jacket, baggy jeans and new white tennis shoes. Chesapeake

On Aug. 31, a man entered a department store and proceeded to an unattended cash register. While accomplices acted as lookouts, the man used a key to open cash register drawers and took money.

The suspect is described as black, about 40, 6 feet 1 inch tall, with a slender build. Investigators know his first name is Phil.

He frequents the Fairwood Homes section. Hampton

On Jan. 15 about 1:20 a.m., a man entered the Quality Inn in the 1800 block of W. Mercury Blvd. and demanded money from the clerk.

After taking money, he fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as white, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall and 230 to 240 pounds. He may have blue eyes.

He was wearing a blue pull-over shirt with a hood, dark pants and white tennis shoes.

A security camera took photographs of the suspect.
